Welcome to the international College of Martial Arts - the home of quality Nationally Recognised, Student Visa approved courses for martial arts, martial arts instructors.
The International College of Martial Arts is growing at an
astounding rate with 2008 seeing unprecedented numbers of overseas
students enrolling in programs at the College and 2009 looking even bigger! Even more gratifying is
the fact that a large number have enrolled in subsequent courses
at the College to stay on the Gold Coast and further their studies with us.
Our parent organisationa, the International Training College, also conducts visa approaved Fitness and Surfing courses.
The College has also opened our new office right in the heart of Sydney. Stay tuned for more information on the NSW International Training College, located right above Museum Station on Elizabeth Street in Sydney. Already we have courses in Shotokan Karate. Stay tuned for more information.
We are accepting enrolments
for courses in 2008 and have a full current course prospectus on our
documents page. You can download the 2008 Overseas Student Prospectus here.
The
full range of courses is available for eligible applicants and these
include the Certificate I & II in Sport & Recreation; the
Certificate II, III & IV is Sport (Coaching); the Diploma of Sport
(Coaching); the Advanced Diploma of Sport & Recreation; and the
Certificate III in Community Recreation (Instructor).
In 2008 we have regular
practical classes in Capoeira, BJJ, MMA and Karate. In 2007 we fielded a number of very successful competition teams and ICMA students won Gold Medals at both National and Pan Pacific championships. Check the news link for details.
Budocollege graduates and students
are also having an exciting time. We have a number of National and
International level combat sports athletes currently studying at the
College and a number of our graduates are successfully coaching
athletes at this level in MMA, BJJ, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Karate and
boxing.
2008 is shaping up to be an even bigger year for our 'family'.
So far we have enrolments from Brazil, England, Canada, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, New Zealand, the United Arab Emirates,
Japan and, of course, Australia. As you can see, we truly are an International
School!
