Fightclub Team Does Well at 2007 Pan Pacs

Daniel Lima's Fight Club Jiu-Jitsu sent a team to Melbourne to compete at the Pan-Pacific Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championships on 17th November 2007. The Pan Pacs are the third biggest BJJ tournament in the world. Athletes from many countries entered the competition, and the Fight Club Team (including many students from the International College of Martial Arts) were amongst the medal winners, with 14 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze between them.
 
Overall the Fight Club team came 4th in the mens overall team rankings and 1st in the womens overall team rankings. Not bad for a team of only 14.

The team worked hard prior to the event with many Saturday morning conditioning sessions at the ICMA. The placings from Fight Club were:

* Hailey also won the "Most Technical Female" fighter award.  The most sought-after prize for female athletes.  A massive achievement considering the level of competition!
