Weightlifting Challenge

The International College of Martial Arts has implemented a new challenge for students and staff wishing to test their limits. The International College of Martial arts hosts the Gold Coast Weightlifting Club and the two organisations share the modest facilities. Recently the International College of Martial Arts and the Gold Coast Weightlifting Club implemented a series of challenges including the 100 Club, the 200 Club, the 300 Club and the Relative Strength Champions for the Bench Press, Back Squat and Deadlift.

Results will be posted on the ITC website. All lifts must be witnessed by at least two suitably qualified faculty members.

The 300 Club recognises the achievements of staff members and students who achieve a combined weight total of over 300kg on the International Powerlifting Federation of lifts of the Bench, Squat and Deadlift. Results will be posted on the ITC website. All lifts must be witnessed by at least two suitably qualified faculty members.
